2 months into 2019

2019 has been crazy so far!  Some things have been not so good, but other things have been awesome.  I have been learning so much about who I am and about what God has planned for me.  He has put me in a connect group at church, where I am now co-leading, which is something I have been definitely feeling called for quite awhile.  I am also volunteering at the source at church, which is a place to help people get connected to the activities going on in the church.  I got a new job at She Found Joy, which is so amazing and so God.  He is pushing me to go beyond my comfort zone to do things I never could have imagined.  I am still at my day job, but that is where God is keeping me at this time in my life.

I had to say goodbye to something I wanted to do for years, but it made a way for me to be able to keep moving forward in what He has for me.  I have also colored my hair, which may not seem like much of a thing, but I went from dish-water blonde to red and I love it!!!

It is exciting and a little nerve racking to think about what is to come.  I like to be in control of things and when that gets threatened, even for good things, I tend to stress.  God is teaching me how to let go and trust.  That must be one of the reasons that He gave me the word trust for 2019.  He has brought so many amazing people into my life and I am so thankful.  I can’t wait to share more with all of you this year and to see where God is taking me.
